Welcome to the New Alderney Needlearts Blog

The Alderney Needlearts Guild was formed in 1998 by an enthusiastic group of needleworkers to promote embroidery skills, learn new techniques and enjoy the fellowship and encouragement of like-minded individuals.

Our projects have included many styles of embroidery, including canvas work, stump work, gold work, drawn thread, whitework, hand anger, deerfield embroidery, bargello and blackwork.  Members can enjoy group projects such as correspondence courses and workshops, as well as pursue their individual needlework interests.

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, from September to May, at 9:30 a.m.  Informal stitch-ins are held weekly on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.  Both meetings and stitch-ins are in the Community Room, Ecole du Carrefour, Dartmouth, NS.
